Cowie & Mott is pleased to announce that partner T. Allen Mott will be the 2019 president of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Mr. Mott has been providing legal services to condominiums for his entire career as an attorney. The Chesapeake Chapter CAI is an organization that promote the interests of condominium association and homeowners association communities in Maryland, the Eastern Shore, and the Delaware and Maryland beaches. The Community Associations Institute seeks to create harmonious communities and responsible leadership by providing educational programs, resources, publications and networking events to the volunteers who govern communities and the service providers and professionals who support them. CAI is a national membership organization with 35,000+ members including community association volunteer leaders (homeowners), professional community managers, property management firms, law firms and other service providers and professionals who provide products and services to community associations.
