Cowie & Mott Unviels New Exhibit at PGCCAC Conference

Cowie & Mott, P.A. attended the 3rd annual Prince George’s County Community Association Conference was held September, 17 2011. It was held at Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, MD. The event draws real estate professionals and HOA board, as well as, association members. Attendees and participants were welcomed by Program Manager of Common Ownership Communities, Daria Bailey. Following the welcome, the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff performed the Presentation of Colors and County Executive Jack Johnson lead a moment of silence for national reflection. Delegate Aisha Braveboy delivered some words of welcome and set the day’s events into motion. The opening concluded with door prize giveaways sponsored by D.H, Bader Management Services, H & E Management Associates, Legacy Investment & Management, Nagle & Zaller, Pro Com and T&A Covenant Solutions.

 

Thank you for providing magnificent legal representation during the identification of construction deficiencies existing at The Condominium in Owings Mills, Maryland. As you know, the community faced imminent disaster as warranties expired and the effects of negligent construction gradually became evident.

Your seminars provided confused owners with enough basic information to understand that answers exist when newly built homes leak each time it rains, toddlers tumble down entrance stairs because the mortar was improperly mixed causing bricks to loosen, or a 20-degree temperature differential is apparent from one floor of the condominium to the next. In fact, your presentation equipped owners with the knowledge that Cowie and Mott could lead the community from a position of instability to a more stable foundation for the future.
